Billy is making a juice that contains 3 quarts of water, 1 quart of grape juice, 1 quart of orange juice, and 2 quarts of strawberry juice. He is putting his homemade juice into a jug that can hold 2 1⁄2 gallons. How many more quarts of juice can Billy still make before filling the jug?(covert to quarts please!)

There are four quarts in a gallon...so if the jug holds 2.5 gallons we can assume the jug holds 10 quarts respectively bc 2 times four is 8 and half (.5) of 4 is 2 ... 8 plus two being ten all the above juices equal 7 quarts which means there is room for 3 more quarts of juice in the jug!
If you need to write the conversion it will be 2.5 gallons on the left, then a fraction next to it with 1 gallon in the denominator and 4 quarts in the top half of the fraction
