Fiecare cort avea forma unui paralelipiped drept, cu baza un patrat, cu latura de 4 metri si acoperisul in forma de piramida regulata, cu inaltimea congruenta cu aceea a paralelipipedului si congruenta cu diagonala patratului de baza. Pentru fixarea unui cort se leaga varful piramidei cu franghii trase in prelungirea muchiilor laterale ale ei si fixate apoi cu cate un tarus in paman.
