Two samples were taken at a shopping mall. In each sample, 200 shoppers were asked which fruit they preferred. A 4-column table with 3 rows. Column 1 has entries Sample 1, Sample 2, Average. Column 2 is labeled Apple with entries 84, 92, 88. Column 3 is labeled Banana with entries 90, 88, 89. Column 3 is labeled Strawberry with entries 26, 20, 23. Given the results in the table, which inference can be made? More people prefer strawberries than prefer apples. More people prefer strawberries than prefer bananas. About the same number of people prefer apples and bananas. Many more people prefer bananas than prefer apples or strawberries.
