C = 3/2 = 1.5

Plug this in to the 1st equation to solve for T

8C + 4(3/2) = 45

8C + 6 = 45

8C = 39

C = 36/8 = 4. 5

So the cost to rent each chair is $1.50 and the cost to rent each table is $4.50
