Ok so first lets do A. Her measurements are not correct the actual double is 1 cup of sugar and 3 1/2 cups of flour

Change 1 3/4 to an improper fraction and do the same
Multiply 7/4 by 2/1 you get 14/4 which equals 3 1/2

7/4x3/1= 21/4= 5 1/4
