Malcolm is trying a very low-carbohydrate diet. he would like to keep the amount of carbs consumed in grams between the levels shown in the following compound inequality:
50 < 2x + 10 and 2x + 10 < 110
solve for x in this inequality, and explain what the answer represents.
a: x < 20 and x > 50; malcolm needs to consume less than 20 grams of carbohydrates or more than 50 grams of carbohydrates.
b: x > 20 and x < 50; malcolm needs to consume more than 20 grams of carbohydrates, but less than 50 grams of carbohydrates.
c: x > 30 and x < 60; malcolm needs to consume more than 30 grams of carbohydrates, but less than 60 grams of carbohydrates.
d: x < 30 and x > 60; malcolm needs to consume less than 30 grams of carbohydrates or more than 60 grams of carbohydrates.

In a certain pentagon, the interior angles are a,b,c,d,e where a,b,c,d,e are integers strictly less than 180. ("strictly less than 180" means they are "less than and not equal to" 180.) if the median of the interior angles is 61 and there is only one mode, then what are the degree measures of all five angles?

The median of a data set is the measure of center that is found by adding the data values and dividing the total by the number of data values that is the value that occurs with the greatest frequency that is the value midway between the maximum and minimum values in the original data set that is the middle value when the original data values are arranged in order of increasing (or decreasing) magnitude

Ican interpret and represent the remainder in division calculations sensibly for the context (eg if we wont to know how many 40 seat buses will be needed to transport 170 students for on excursion, we divide 170 by 40 and realise buses and another smaller vehicle to that we need 4 transport 10 more students) solve the following questions. show your work! 11) the zoo had 420 butterflies that needed to be transported to a new enclosure. the boxes that the butterflies would be moved in only hold 80 butterflies in each. how many boxes would they need? 2 12) each classroom in the school can have exactly 25 students, if there are 345 students in the school how many full classrooms are there?
