What is moral isolationism? how does the ancient japanese custom of testing a new sword explain it? what is the relationship between moral isolationism and ethical (or moral) relativism? n. b.: the answer to the first two questions can be taken pretty directly from the midgley reading. answering the third question requires a bit more understanding and interpretation from the midgley readings and possibly midgley in comparison with some of the other readings.
