the town of east rhrer has grown rapidly and the mayor has decided to have a map made of
the town. he needs your . based on the instructions below, draw the streets on a map of

as you draw your map follow these guideliness

a be sure that the streets extend from one side of the map to the other.
a remember that streets do not run through the mall or the pond. (the mall and pond
are positioned correctly
here are your directions for drawing the street map of bast river.
1. washington avenue is west of the pond but east of the mall.
2. jefferson street is north of the pond and the mall.
all streets (not avenues) are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the avenue,
4. a stop light is planned to be located at the intersection of jefferson street and
washington avenue. the mall may be entered from either of these two streets.
5. the pond is north of adams street.
6. if you leave the mall via jefferson street, make a right at the intersection, make the sec-
ond left onto roosevelt street, and then travel east, you will be directly north of the
pond.
