Usa fda: millions of pounds of rat meat sold as boneless chicken wings
if you enjoy boneless chicken wings you may actually be eating rat meat. the fda says that as much as a million pounds of rat meat may have been sold.
from weekly healthy life:
according to the usa food and drug administration (fda), there are about million pounds of rat meat sold as boneless chicken wings in restaurants and stores throughout the usa!
this comes after numerous illegal shipping containers were seized by customs at the port of san francisco. when the inspectors opened them, they were full of rat meat that was supposed to be distributed across america and sold as chicken meat! according to a report, the meat was confiscated and should be destroyed by the authorities.
if this doesn’t make you order “bone in” wings, what will? this report takes the saying, “tastes like chicken” to a whole new level of disgusting. i guess if you put enough super hot sauce on it the taste goes away.
