Need plzzz what is the divisibility test

basically determining whether or not an integer is divisible by something, without having to divide anything

The divisibility test is a method by which we determine whether a number is divisible by some integer or not.

It ease the process of finding the factors of a large number.

The most common are--

We just need to check the last digit of the number whether it is divisible by 2 or not.

for example--

1)

If we take the number:

  1256

then as the last digit 6 is divisible by 2.

Hence, the number 1256 is divisible by 2.

2)

If we take the number

       1257

Then as the last digit 7 is not divisible by 2.

Hence, the number is not divisible by 2.

for example--

Consider the number

            123

we add the digits: 1+2+3=6

since 6 is divisible by 3.

Hence, the number "123" is divisible by 3.
