In the case of the order of magnitude of a number written in scientific notation, if the multiplier of 10 is less than 3.16 (square root of ten to 2 decimal places) then the order of magnitude is the exponent of 10 and if the multiplier is greater than 3.16 then the order of magnitude is one more than the exponent of 10. so what is the order of magnitude if the multiplier of 10 is 3.16?
