Trianglia is a triangular island. each side increases by 2.5 km. using l (l is the variable) for the length of the shortest side, the perimeter is represented by the expression:

l+(l+2.5)+(1+5)

sean thinks that the expression 3(l+2.5) could also be used to represent the perimeter.
