The math problem is- i am getting ready for and need some desperately! i would like some advice on cooking my turkey. i bought a 16 1/2 pound turkey. book says to cook the turkey for 20 minutes per pound if it is unstuffed and 25 minutes per pound of the turkey is stuffed. i plan on having a stuffed turkey. if i want to eat at 1: 00 pm what time should i put the turkey in? oh yes the cookbooks says to let the turkeys stand for 10 minutes after coming out of the oven.
