Evaluate 3/7r + 5/8s when r = 14 and s = 8 the answer is 6+5=11 i don't understand the solution. i am confused as to what i thought was multiplying fractions with whole numbers, which i thought you multiply the variable(whole number) by the numerator, whereas the solution in this case for the numerator is just a repeat of the variable. i've included a wiki post on multiplying fractions with whole numbers.
