how to avoid: the Bible in general, and the book of James in particular (James 3:1ff), warns about the improper use of the tongue. So instead of cursing, speak positive and encouraging words. The apostle Paul says, “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person” (Colossians 4:6, ESV)
scenario 3: watching inappropriate content or inappropriate scenes in a tv show or movie

The average visit lasts 6 minutes and 29 seconds with 55% of married men and 25% of married women say that they watch inappropriate videos at least once a month. 11 is the average age a child is first exposed to inappropriate videos and images, and 94% of children will see it by the age of 14. The first step is to confess your sins. The second is accountability, possibly counseling, and restoration of any relationships that may have been damaged, and then take practical steps to reduce your exposure to graphic images, day by day dying to your flesh by denying yourself
