The history of the ancient hebrews comes from the ( hebrew bible, prophets, ketuvim, writings) which contains a collection of oral histories passed down through the years. it starts with (abraham, moses, saul) who is considered the father of the hebrew people. according to the hebrew bible, he spoke to god. god told him that he was to move his people to canaan and teach them that they should worship only one god. the people worshiped god and became ( polytheistic, christians, monotheistic, asstrians) they started practicing a religion that came to be known as judaism.
