The Netherlands relied on the Dutch East India Company for money and protection. This company is also known as the United East Indian Company that was established in 1602. It was granted a 21-year spice trade monopoly by the Dutch government and is recognized to be the first ever multinational corporation in the world to issue stocks. They have the power to negotiate treaties, wage war, execute convicts, and establish colonies.

8: he was a man who spoke out to the entire nation about peace and equality, so therefore doing something for your community, or nation, is a way of honoring him because he did the same. everyone learns about martin luther king jr. he is famous in history books, most especially for his “i have a dream” speech that inspired millions worldwide. he spoke to the entire nation about freedom, equality, and peace for all. he was participation in his community and doing what was right for him and all his community. participating in service projects is a great idea to honor his dream and his memory. even thought it’s not was comes first to mind when thinking about community service projects, it is an amazing way to honor an amazing man who changed the future for the better.
