B) 5 levels

The five levels (in ascending order) are:

1.  Local trial courts  (municipal courts and justice of the peace courts)
2.  County level courts 
3.  District courts
4.  Courts of appeal
5.  Highest level appellate courts  (Court of Criminal Appeals for criminal matters, State Supreme Court for constitutional matters and civil appeals)
