President taft’s foreign policy emphasized

President Taft's foreign policy was committed to the expansion of US foreign trade. Compared to President Roosevelt, President Taft was more committed to ensure and  strengthen an influence the different US businesses and banks to pursue their investments. This program of his was also known as the "dollar diplomacy," which highly encouraged US investments in South America, Central America, the Caribbean, and the Far East.

He implemented this foreign policy by using government officials to promote the sale of American products overseas which mostly focused on the trade of heavy industrial goods and military hardware.
