Cons: Overspending and Debt – When we make purchases with a credit card, there can be a tendency to spend more than we would have with cash.  High Interest Rates – Credit card APRs are high compared to most other interest rates you’ll come across. For example, the average APR on a new credit card offer is roughly 19%, according to WalletHub’s latest Credit Card Landscape Report.
