Read the following passage from the diary of a merchant who lived during the spread of a deadly disease known as the black plague. then answer the question. 14th november, 1356 it has been some years since the black plague struck england. life is returning to normal. people are recovering from the trauma of losing their loved ones. they are learning to rebuild their lives. even so, the lords are finding it difficult to find laborers to work on their farms. they are paying a handsome price to anyone who knows the job well and is willing to work. even though i am a merchant, i am tempted to switch professions. however, i tell myself it is a matter of time before my luck changes. there will be plenty of opportunities to earn good money by selling my wares. maybe moving to a new city would . cousin john has been suggesting a visit. maybe london would have opportunities for a cloth merchant. what can you infer from the passage?
