Priorities of 2014/2015:  
Create new strategy to defeat terrorism, especially ISIS.
Respond to increasing Russian aggression in the Ukraine.

Those were the two biggest national/international security concerns that were causing great concern in 2014.  The kidnapping of schoolgirls by Boko Haram occurred in 2014 also, but that was not perceived as the same level of threat to US interests or national security.  ISIS has typically been a focus of US concern more than Boko Haram has.  And escalating Russian aggression has caused (and continues to cause) great concern for US security interests.
