The American Constitution has a Preamble, seven articles, and 27 amendments.

The Preamble tells why the Constitution was written and is a single, concise sentence that starts with “We the People of the United States…”

The seven articles explain how the government should work.

The first three articles describe the three branches - Legislative, Executive and Judicial - and it’s responsibilities.

From the fourth article on the Constitution explains what the states should respect, it’s laws, court decisions, and records.

The First 10 amendments of the Constitution were known as the Bill of Rights.

the hebrew bible is the sacred text of judaism;

the koran is that of islam.

among eastern religions, the sacred scriptures of hinduis are the four vedas and the upanishads, among others.

a main characteristic in these books is that un most of them we find certain "norms" of behavior, as is the case of the bible that has it's commandments. these rules are to regulate the behavior of believers and faithful of their respective faith.

these rules tell us what is right and what is not.
