How did the renaissance contribute to the rediscovery of classical civilization and the development of vernacular literature

The Renaissance was rediscovering the classical civilization and led to the development of what we today cal vernacular literature through the renewed interest in antique works of art, culture and the different sculptures that Greek and Roman artists, painters, and poets created. All of this had a significant impact on the mentality at the time.
