World war ii mobilization affected women by encouraging them to work within the home. giving them the opportunity to work in various factories. conscripting them into the army. giving them jobs considered to be traditional for women.

Women were given the opportunity because men were needed on the battlefield. Many women were given the chance to work in factories so that they can help in providing the needs of their country but as well as their husbands and lovers who were sent to war.  They were also given the opportunity to work on the Home Front to help free the men with the clerical work in the base.
