Who benefited the most from the first global economic system? who lost the most?

It was primarily the Europeans who had sent ships to explore the New World who benefited the most from the first global economy system, since their claims to land meant that they profited the most from trade that occurred due to their resources and holdings. Those who generally lost the most were the Africans and Natives on whose land the Europeans were extracting resources.
