How did charles g. finney’s brand of christian revivalism differ from those of previous evangelical leaders?

Charles .G finney  revivalism  stressed  the  control  that   human  have  over  their  own  destines.  He  was  concern  to  settle  question  of  soul  salvation.He  preached  and  conducted religious meeting .  Also  in  his  revival  he  included  women  and  people  were  praying  loudly  in  a  meeting   which  had  mixed  sexes.
