Ineed putting my letter into the way it should sound from early 1990s having to do with the second industrial revolution. dearest emma, i am writing to you from america. i am sorry to have left you in china but i had to find better work. as i got here i noticed that so many things were different. i wasn't treated very well either. the white men gave me a job but they kept an eye on me as though they did not trust me, as if i were stealing rom them. coming here i was excited, a new start and a new way of living. i do wish to be back home though. but get this! i don't have to walk long distances anymore, nor do i have to worry about communicating to other people from far away. we have trains that take us to the other side of the americas in just about 2 weeks. and now i can send a message and know that the other is receiving it! until next time, anna
