Which conquistador defeated the inca and how did he do it?

Francisco Pizzaro conquered the Incas. He tried to convert them to Catholicism so he sent his captain, Hernando de Soto, to meet with their ruler, Atahualpa. Atahualpa met with the captain, heard his speech and agreed to meet Pizzaro in person in Cajamarca. Pizzaro had men strategically hidden in corners (62 of them on horseback) and tried to convince Atahualpa to convert to the "one true religion", Catholicism. He offered the Inca a Bible, claiming it had all the answers. Since Atuahalpa never seen a book before, he put it to his ear, expecting the promised answers but they never came. Out of anger, he threw it to the ground and it was seen as an offense or as an excuse to start the attack. Pizzaro used their advanced weaponry, such as guns, to kill 2000 men and abducted Atahualpa that day. As a ransom, he offered Pizzaro tons of gold and even more silver, which Pizzaro gladly accepted. After Atahualpa converted to Christianity, he was garroted and killed. Spanish troops then proceeded to murder the population, extinguish their culture, and destroy most of their cities to build new ones with new names, Pizzaro himself created the now capital, Lima.
