How did the vikings eventually establish vinland?

In the 13th-century Groenlendinga saga presented thoughtful chronicles of the journey of Vinland who gained its title from the trailers (vinber) which were discovered there.

In 1960, the archaeological grounds of Norse hamlet in North America found at L'Anse aux Meadows on the peak of the island of Newfoundland. Vinland was the title assigned to North America as it was traversed by the Vikings, apparently by blending both Newfoundland and the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.

The title 'Viking' arises of the literature identified as 'Old Norse' which implies 'a pirate raid'.
