Should the government create a law mandating a balanced federal budget

This is of course somewhat of a subjective question, but in general most would agree that no, the federal government should not do this, because in order for a national economy to function properly it needs to take on a certain amount of debt.

If he breaks the law then he had to resign from his post and so he'll lose his/her powers.
