How were pyramids built by the Egyptians without no modern technology

People believe that to bind the rocks together. Evidence points to the Egyptians using gypsum mortar (also known as plaster of Paris) in constructing pyramids during the Pharaonic period. Copper chisels or saws were used to cut the limestone and they used the surface of the water as a level and worked on the stone underwater, making it easier to manipulate. We found out the rocks each weighs about 250 tonnes! Even with using our modern technology, we wouldn't be able to carry them!
