Agriculture. The first similarity in the civilizations is agriculture. In every age, the individuals practiced some form of farming whether through farming, hunting, gathering or animal husbandry. They would look for plants and fruits to eat, and they would hunt animals.

All these civilizations had certain features in common. They built cities and invented forms of writing. They learned to make pottery and use metals. They domesticated animals, and they created fairly complex social structures with class systems. Food is an easy way to share one’s culture and express it through the belly neighboring tribes would collect together and join for feast to celebrate agriculture and life itself
