IS THIS TRUE? Pioneer View (Role 3)- We followed the trusty Mormon Trail. Our motivations? We wanted the land! Lots of land! The trip was rough. There were diseases. The wildlife was terrible. Several died. I took my food and family, as we were gonna need food for the trek. We made outposts and houses, for people to stay in, as well as expanding civilization.
Cherokee (Role 4)- The route we took was the one to the west. The journey was brutal. Many died of illness. Of course, we were not happy to be forced out of our homelands. I would like to tell the Americans to leave us alone because it was our land and we didn’t agree to being forced out. The trail affected us all, as many of us fell ill or died, and it will have an impact because of what happened in the past.
