There are several huge companies like Amazon for example who overwork their employees and pay too low. There are so many boycotts going on in the U.S. these days because people are starting to realize they need to fight for more. A lot of bigger companies barely pay their employees enough for them to live a life. I'd fully say profit is what big businesses care about a majority of the time. Of course there are always going to be some big businesses that treat their employees well, but for every 1 of those businesses, there are plenty that mistreat their employees.
