IDENTIFY PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS Think about some ways to improve your community. Your community can include your school, your neighborhood, or the whole town or city. Use local news sources, such as newspapers, newsletters, and the Internet, to identify problems in your community. Then with a group of friends, brainstorm possible solutions. On your own, choose the problem you think is the most important one to solve. Write a paragraph explaining what the problem is and which solution you think will work best. Explain why you think that is the best solution.
