What did you learn about the middle passage

The Middle Passage is the part of Triangular Trade where slaves from Africa were forced to make go aboard slave ships from Africa to the Americas. It was a horrible journey, with many becoming severely sick or dying on the way. Conditions were very dark, smelly, and cramped. Most slave ships went to the Caribbean islands or the South, although for a while they also entered Northern ports before the North banned slavey.
