Please write a one to two paragraph summary of the events that transpired after WWI and during the peace conferences that followed. Your summary
should include why the Fourteen Points failed to take hold with the allies, and
why the Treaty of Versailles was built on such a unsteady and weak foundation.
A good response would also consider why the treaty was so unpopular here in
the US, the league Nations vote, and mention how Germany would be treated
and what reaction that might have to the treaty. Why was the treaty destined
to fail and lead to another World War in twenty years?
