Directions
Graphically organize the major events of the Cold War in chronological order. Write a paragraph of at least 150 words on how the Cold War affected smaller countries that were not directly involved in it. This is an informative paper, so the style should be formal, or, in an objective tone. This means you will deliver the information in an unbiased and neutral way. This is a factual approach to writing an essay. An informal tone would use a more personal approach, like our or I. In addition, an informal tone would use judgmental words, like, atrocious or loathe. Keep this in mind as you write your essay.
