What is similar and different about the causes the United States entered WW1 and WW2 was that the U. S didn't originally want to be a part of these wars, they wanted to
stay neutral and not do anybody harm. One similarity between the causes is that the
United States joined because our ships and submarines were attacked and sunk both
times. During WW1 Germany was doing unrestricted submarine Warfare and that was
our last straw and that caused us to join this war and fight against Germany. During
WW2 the situation was similar, our Naval base was attacked bombing all of our ships
and most of our water transportation in order to fight back during the war. These
situations are different because the reason we were bombed during WW2 was we
stopped trading with Japan and they didn't like that so they decided to attack.
