1) A transferência da Corte portuguesa tornou o Brasil, sede do Império português, um fato inédito que culminou na construção de um aparato administrativo, o que proporcionou modificações consideráveis na cidade do Rio de Janeiro e que, posteriormente, resultaram na independência do Brasil.
