You have been accused of stealing a Texas history textbook from the classroom and three thousand dollars from the school safe and have been put in jail. You have been
waiting for your trial for ten years and when you are finally given a trial it is a private
trial, behind closed doors, with a jury that consists entirely of retired history teachers.
The trial is to take place in Ohio (though the book you were accused of stealing the
book in your hometown). Furthermore, you have no lawyer, and the judge won't allow
you to contact one.
Is this legal under the Bill of Rights?
