Used to be embarrased to be from my country at first but you should try feeling proud though it's easier said than done think about the good things about Americans I guess

there were three types of british colonies: royal, proprietary, and self-governing. each type had its own characteristics. proprietary colonies, such as pennsylvania, maryland, and delaware, were basically land grants from the british government.
