Agovernment holds strict religious control over a country. the country's laws are based on its leaders' interpretation of religious texts, and the government uses a violent police force to end protests. though many citizens dislike the current leaders, they generally recognize that they have a right to govern according to the rules of their religion.

I fail to see a question in this, but if you're asking, is this true? what I say, is that the answer is in the question. Truth. We all know what truth is. Truth is absolute. There's only one truth, and what they say doesn't change it. We can strongly say that no true religion gives a leader a right to be tyrannical. Look at all of the world's leading religions. with the exception of muslims, each one is heavily against tyranny and mostly based on free will (debatable with some, but generally agreed upon) So really, the answer is No. This is not alright. being religious does not give you a free pass, in fact, it makes you more accountable. So I say that this is compleletely wrong.
