Many returned to Christianity, and it made Christianity extremely popular, especially when they reached out to those who were not going to church. It reshaped many of the older European church's (not the more modern ones) and gave the different types of religion a new leader, for example, George Whitefield for Anglican, or Samuel Davies for Presbyterian
