What type of government did the constitution establish for the united states

The constitution allowed the United States to be free unlike Europe, like how they were under a king and had to obey so to say, just like how we are developed now. We are under a president but we don't have to serve him or her.

They were constantly being overlooked as a people and were being controlled by people who weren't really native to their homeland.
