This was the reason to end the war between Germany and Allied powers. This treaty was signed almost five years after the death of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. It took nearly six months of negotiations to table this peace treaty. Germany was stripped of around 25000 square miles of land from its territory and around 7 million people.  

It also compelled Germans to give up its gains which it made through treaty of Brest-Litovsk. Germany also had to approve the Independence of Poland. An area of around 51800 miles was granted to Poland from Germany. This treaty imposed many restrictions on Germany. The treaty also laid down a division which worked dissolved the general staff.

This treaty was one of the major reasons which helped world - war 1 to end but it proved to bring out big losses for Germany. 2) anti-federalists do not want to ratify the constitution unless it includes a bill of rights. the anti-federalists are worried that the constitution gives too much power to the federal government. having a strong central government caused problems when the us was still part of great britain. this is why the anti-federalists are fearful of this type of system.

3) federalists want a new constitution passed because it will fix america's weak political structure. before the us constitution is implemented, the constitution being used is known as the articles of confederation. this constitution has an extremely weak central government, allowing for disunity among the states.
