Coffee is a strong stimulant that keeps you awake when lack of sleep makes your brain foggy. some mornings i swear i walk in a daze until i drink that wonderful first cup. i put in a few spoonfuls of sugar, lots of cream, and then give it a good stir before adding the coffee. i give it about twenty minutes until i feel the first effects. the fuzziness begins to dissipate, and i become a functioning human being again. if i have time, i sneak in at least one more cup before starting my day.
