To save money you can have a certain amount you put away and a certain amount you can spend. When people go to live on their own, taxes, cars, and houses are huge expenses. To manage money on your own, use savings bonds or ask someone for help if you really need it, but it's better to learn on your own.For someone starting a career, I'd tell them to  be careful with their money and only spend when necessary. Managing finances can be hard but when you get used to it you will learn to manage your money better.
