How does india’s attempt at controlling population growth differ from china’s?

China could only have a sertain amount of kids or so unlike india they wanted to keep controll over growth not caring 

India's attempt at controlling population growth differs from China's because India has a lower penalty for having too many children. So, They are planning for something which would be beneficial for Youngsters. They are only allowed two in the cities, whereas in China you may only have one, unless the parent is an only child.
